Short Information–  UPSC invites Online Application  for the post of  Architect (Group-A). Interested Candidates can download and read the notification through the link provided in our section before online submission of Application Form.

Probation Period – 01 Year

Essential Qualification –

  1. EDUCATIONAL
    (i) Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent.
    (ii) Should be registered as Architect with Council of Architecture, India.

    B. EXPERIENCE Five years experience in the Profession.
    DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE- NIL

    Note 1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise will qualified.

Pay Scale-

Pay Scale of Rs. 15600-39100 plus 7600 Grade Pay, Minimum of the Pay Band of the post i.e. Rs. 15600/- or D.C. rate whichever is higher for a period of intial 03 years for Direct Recruitees.

Age Limit-

Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. APPLICATION FEE-

(a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

(b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
