INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2020
Short Information – UPSC has released notification for the post of Indian Economic Service Examination for the total no. of 15 posts. Interested Candidates must download and read the notification carefully before online submission of Application Form.
Important Dates –
Start date for Online Application Form – 11 August 2020
End date for Online Application Form – 01st September, 2020 till 18.00 Hours
Total No. of Posts – 15
Educational Qualification –
A candidate for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.
Note – A candidate who has appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them eligible to appear at this examination, but has not been informed of the result, may apply for admission to the examination.
Age Limit ( As on 01/08/2020) –
Between 21 – 30 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per the existing govt. rules.
Application Fee
For General / OBC Candidates – Rs 200/-
For SC / ST / PH Candidates and All Category Female – NIL
Examination Fee can be paid only through State Bank Net Banking or any Bank Debit Card / Credit Card/ E Challan Mode.
