Short Information– Sports Authority of India (SAI), Delhi, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India invites applications for engagement of staff on contract basis. The employment is initially for a period of two years extendable by one year. Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria–
Senior Research Officer–
- Tech/MBA/Post Graduation in Sports Management/Science.
- 3 years of experience in relevant field like analytics, research, and sports management.
- Excellent knowledge of office software like MS office, Excel, Power point etc. and research tools.
- Understanding of results and competition formats in Olympic sports.
- Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.
Athlete Relationship Officer–
- Educational Qualification: Persons having Master’s Degree in relevant subject (Sports, Law, Management) or technical qualifications like B. Tech., MBA or equivalent qualification in relevant field are eligible.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT, Software applications and Social Media.
- Minimum of one year of Work Experience relevant to the job description. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field.
- Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.
Research Officer-
- Educational Qualification: Technical qualifications like B.Tech, B.E. or equivalent qualification in relevant field (Sports, Law, Management, Operational Research)
- 1 year of experience/PG Degree in relevant field like analytics, research, and sports management/ administration.
- Excellent knowledge of office software like MS office, Excel, Power point etc. and research tools.
- Good understanding on results and competition formats in Olympic sports.
- Applicant with research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
- Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.
Age Limit-
Senior Research officer – 40 years
Research Officer – 35 years
Athlete Relationship Officer – 35 years

Senior Research Officer- 80,000 -1 Lac/ Month
Athlete Relationship Officer- 45,000-60,000/Month
Research Officer- 45,000-60,000/Month
